Ok. So those of you who know me...know I hate my birthday. It's not so much the getting older that bugs me. It is, instead, the magnitude of suck that invariably accompanies the day.
Last year's birthday haiku:
Lonely, abandoned
Forgotten on my birthday
An unknown stranger
So, yeah. It's what inspired me to make my birthdays blow emote.
I'll bet you're wondering what brings all of this up, hmm? Well, it's exactly one week before my birthday. That's right, next Monday, November 27th, I'll be 29 years old. And I'm hoping that it won't be the suck-ass birthday that I'm expecting. So I'm hoping that, please, all of you who read this...will pray for me. That's it. Just a prayer or a happy thought or a positive flow of energy. I'm hoping that if I start now...then it will all build up over the next seven days and actually give me a happy birthday.
On another note...the holiday card exchange is still in the sign-up stage! So, if you'd like to participate, then just drop me a note with your name and address, and I'll reply with mine. Then, we each mail a holiday card to the other! Pretty simple, yeah? Yeah!
